Ahart McGill was born on September 2, 1947 to the late Ahart McGill, Sr.
and the late Daisy B. Jones, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He was educated in
the Newark, NJ school system. He departed this life, September 19, 2015
at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, New York.
On October 29, 1965 he was united in Holy Matrimony to his long time love
Robbie J. Moore. He joined a church in Utica, where he attended faithfully
until his health declined.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lavell Jones (Debra), He leaves to
cherish his memories his daughter Roberta McGill, and his son Lorenzo Mosely
(Ericka). Five grandchildren; (Dominique, Janeece, Deauntrey, Bryan, and
Marquiz), six great-grandchildren; two brothers; Keith Miller (Carolyn),
Richard R. Jones, four sisters; Hilda J. Obery, Eula Nancy Gallman,
Sandora Campbell (Robert), Dorothy Williams (Daryl) and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ahart was a man who loved his family dearly. He will be greatly missed by
all who loved him.
