James “Jinks” ClarK, Sr., 89 of Utica, NY passed away on February 5, 2015. James was born on August 15, 2017 in Utica, NY to the late John Clark and Louise Burke.
“Jinks” was educated in the Utica, NY school district and after his high school graduation he joined the Army AirCorp in 1941 and was honorably discharged in in 1945 and was a reservist until 1948.
When James returned to Utica after his time in the Military he worked in the hospitality industry and upon retirement from there he became employed at Price Chopper, located on Genesee Street, where he was well known and liked. He will be missed.
James will be interred at Forest Hill Cemetery at the discretion of the family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Home, 144 Eagle Street, Utica, NY 13501 and Mr. Clark's funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery at the discretion of the family.
