Sharon Yvette Freeman, 63, a resident of Utica, NY passed on Saturday, April 22, 2017 with her family at her side. Sharon was born on February 28, 1954 in Laurens, SC to Charlie and Teretha (Harris) Conwell. Sharon worked at Human Technology Corp. (HTC). Her hobbies included crocheting and watching scary movies. Sharon is survived by her three daughters; Shirelle Conwell, Millicent Freeman and Letisha Freeman; sisters: Sheila Billins and Diane Washington; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and specials friends: Arthur Davis, Charles Haynes, Cindy Allen Valerie Moore and her pet cat, Misty. Sharon was predeceased by her parents; Charlie & Teretha Conwell, sisters; Irene Hunter and Marilene Thomas and brother; Mitchell James. The family would like to thank all those who have extended their acts of kindness during this time of grief. Family and friends may call on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm with the Sharon’s funeral service to immediately follow at 1:00 pm at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Home, 144 Eagle St. Utica, NY 13501. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Reverend George Clark will officiate the service.
