Obituary of James B Hagans, Sr.
On June 13, 1947 a great man, James Bennie Hagans, Sr. was born to the late Moses, Sr. and Alberta Hagans in Chiefland, Florida.
On March 8, 2019, with his wife and children by his side, James took his final breath a moment no one could imagine. A moment no one could imagine, seemingly unrealistic. He will live on through all those who loved him.
A man with a heart of gold, completed his education at Williston Vocational high school, and then joined the United States Army, where he served proudly. Once he perfomed his patrioic duties and was honorably discharged, he went on to creating his own legacy.
A family, from his first wife (Mary), he bore 6 children; Tina Hagans, Tony A, Hagans, Cynthia Hagans, Carmel Hagans, Nikita Hagans and James Hagans, Jr.. Later in life, he met his second wife (Kendel), who bore him four more children; Chaez Hagans, Daqwaun Hagans, Fhard Hagans and Ericha Hagans.
James loved all his children both individually and as a whole. From his beautiful children, he became a proud grandfather with a host of grandchildren and great grands.
James is survived by his doting wife of 18 years, Airlene M Hagans. Although they never had children together, their amazing need to love each other through trials and tribulations, good and bad, kept tem united for so long.
James was a man of great passion, determination, integrity and strength.
