Obituary of Jeanette Marie McCovery

Jeanette Marie McCovery, aka "Jazzy Red", 65 of Utica, NY passed away on May 5, 2019 with the love of her family surrounding her spirit. 

Jeanette was known for her love of dancing and loud music.  She made sure everyone ws well fed and felt at home at the "Club Garage".  Her bright personality, big mouth, attitude and love for family and dominoes are just a small description of the person that everyone knew.  She was also known as the "Candy Lady" in her neighborhood, not only was she respected by her peers, she was also loved by the kids. 

Jeanette leaves to cherish her memories; her children Reginald (Rose) Hardy and Anthony (Laurie) Davis; sisters: Evon Green and Betty A. Scott; brothers: Willie Boles and Edward Evans; a host of grandkids: Kayla Mia, Reggie, Jr., Regina, Shyanna, Jordan, Amaya Jade, Aridnna, Anthony, Jr., Nasir and Niaiida; and her great granddaughter Sky and her common husband Ben "Bingo" Ford; a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews; best friends Mary "Midnight" Nicols, Cindy Patterson, Tommy Archy and side piece Darren Mason. 

Jeanette was predeceased by her mother Annie Watson and stepfather Amos Watson, brother Dennis J. Evans and sister Emma J. Evans. 

The family would like to extend their appreciation to all those who have extended their sympathy during this time of grief.
