Obituary of Anthony Howard
Anthony “Dipset” Howard, 59 of Utica, NY was born on November 10, 1959 to James and Vivian (Yates) Howard in Brooklyn, NY.
Anthony relocated to Utica, NY 21 years ago and began his career as a chef in numerous local restaurants. A dedicated father and jovial part of the community. Also, a faithful member of St. Paul’s Baptist Church. Along with his passion for cooking, Anthony had that same passion for music which he shared with anyone and everyone. He had a unique sense of humor, no one would know what he would say next, but he always kept his family, friends and the community laughing. If you weren’t laughing with him than you must be sharing his BBQ and his quote of the day was always “Hamburger on the grill”!
Anthony’s memories are cherished by his children: Viqita Barnes, Anthony “Champ” Howard, Jr.; Antonio Everett Howard; father James “Champ” Howard; sisters: Vivian Howard, Samantha Howard, Pamela Howard and Kimberly Russell; one brother: Wayne Howard; a very devoted nephew Kenny Bonaparte; nephew Marcus Russell; special cousins: Jeanette Haskins, Kim Yates, Amy Parfait, Jennifer Alexis, Torra Lee, Tracy Cudger as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Anthony is predeceased by his mother Vivian Howard and sister Briggitte Howard.
The family would like to thank all who extended their sympathies during their time of grief.
