Obituary of Mary Shannon Willis-Clark

Mary-Shannon Willis-Clark, 47 was born on January 17, 1972 to Ronnie and Mickey (Pendergrass) Willis in Utica, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12, 2019.

Mary-Shannon grew up in the Hudson Valley area where she attended Highland Central School District. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Educational Studies from Empire State College and became a substitute teacher at the Martin Luther King Elementary in Utica, NY and as well other schools within the district. 

Mary-Shannon loved the Lord, music, singing, nature, especially the beach and was an avid reader. 

Mary-Shannon is honored by her mother Mickey,, father Ronnie (Utica, NY); daughters Kristen and Taylor Clark (Utica, NY); sisters Tracey Willis and Courtnee (Nicholas) Biscardi (Fort Lauderdale, FL); nieces: Briana and Autumn Monsanto; nephews:  Abrey and Ryden Biscardi; special aunt-in-law-Gloria Hymon and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends. 

Mary-Shannon’s quiet, gentle spirit and beautiful smile will be sorely missed by her family and loved ones. The family would like to acknowledge all those who have called, stopped by or sent messages during their time of grief.   And a special "thank you" to the staff at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. 

Services will be held on Saturday, 19 October, 2019 at T. Revels Funeral Home, 144 Eagle Street, Utica, NY 13501.  Visitation from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm and the funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm.   Pastor Cornelia Brown will officiate the service.
