Obituary of Mark Allen Peak

Mark Allen Peak, 33 years old, born in Utica, NY on March 8, 1986 went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2020. Mark is the son of Katherine Peak (Gloria Willis Peak) and Mark (Margie) Brown. Mark (Meazy) leaves a very large and loving family to cherish his memory: six sisters: Shantai, Misty, Veronica (Russell), Angel, Maya and Hanna; five brothers: Jameil, Justin, Christopher, Leon Allen and Vernon; daughter ZaaFira “Rashida”; goddaughter India-Lee Sanders; aunts: Deaconess Gloria, Pearlie, Turetha (Torrence) and Carolyn (Glenda); uncles: Leroy, Willie, John, Mike and Monte; nieces: Keivontre, Avionna and Keionna; nephews: Kabril, Alessandro and Amorr. Mark also leaves behing the love of his life, Cytearia King and her children: Deavyona, KatrellJR., Karmello and Kingston; three special cousins: Jaiza, Jessica and Labria; a host of special friends: Niya, Black Monique, Baby Frank, Little Man, Trag, Clue, C.J., MarMar and godmother Sue Thayer. Mark is predeceased by his sister: Kimberly Brown; grandmothers: Williemena Peak and Shirley Brown; grandfathers: Allen Brown and Johnny Gibbs; uncle Thomas Gosier, Lonnie Willis and Troy Wynder. Mark loved the color blue, gambling, laughing and making jokes. He loved his family and had a smile that could light up a room. He adored his spiritual mother and father in the Lord the late Elder George and Evangelist Margaret Patterson. The family would like to send a thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth Medical Center for their care and services, with a special thank you to the head nurse, Sally Davidson.
