PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC THAT THERE WILL NOT BE A VISITATION HOUR FOR MICHAEL. WE ASK FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND PRAY THAT EVERYONE STAYS SAFE. Michael Anthony LaPage, Sr., 26 of Utica, NY passed on to God's Heavenly on March 24, 2020. Michael was born on March 6, 1994 in Utica, NY to Jose Matos and Kimberly LaPage. Michael was a loving, caring father who cherished his three children above all else. They were his absolute pride and joy , their bond and unbreakable. He loved being out in nature and doing outdoor activities. He felt "closer to God" when he went to the activities. He felt "closer to God" when he went to the beach or out fishing. Such simple pleasures were some of his best enjoyed experiences. He was always the "jokester", everyone had their "thing" with Michael. A funny little social ritual, whether it be a very "creative nickname" which he may have given you with or a few friendly or vulgar pieces of wisdom or phrases on his way out the door. If you knew him, then you knew him. A very genuine and empathetic young man with a huge heart. Michael will be missed by an enormous amount of family members and friends. He was a beautiful, bright light in all of our lives and we have all been blessed knowing him on earth. We must now take comfort in knowing that he is at rest in the Kingdom of our Lord and forever peace! This is HIS will...but you (Michael) will be dearly missed. God took the best and left the rest...
