Obituary of Dolores Pulluaim

Dolores Pulluaim, 68 of Utica, NY was born on August 22, 1952 to Jesse Taylor and Ollie Mae Hurd, transitioned on July 10, 2021 for her new journey to be with the Lord. Dolores graduated from Thomas R. Proctor high school on June 25, 1972 and went on to attend Mohawk Valley Community College, obtaining her certification as a E.K.G. Technician in 1977. Dolores then attended St. Elizabeth School of Nursing and became certified as a licensed nurse practitioner. In her personal endeavors and many contributions to the community, she was named “Grandmother of the Year” by the Municipal Housing Program, 2004. Dolores will always be remembered and cherished by her daughters: Yvonne (Minnesota), Rebecca (Virginia) and Pamela (Utica); beloved soulmate, Norman Grant of twenty-five years; brother, Zachary Taylor; sister Shirley Cole; grandchildren: James, Chris, Kirk, Malik and Najee; great grandchildren: Christian, Mekhi, Malakai and Brylee; nieces, nephews, aunts, great uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved her very much. The family truly appreciates all the prayers, thoughts, concerns during this time of grief.
