Obituary of Frankie Lee Thompson, Jr.
Please share a memory of Frankie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frankie ”Fizz” Lee Thompson, Jr., 43 of Utica, NY, went home to be
with the Lord on September 9, 2021. Frankie was born on May 27,
1978 to Frankie Lee Thompson, Sr. and Mildred Reed (Franklin,
VA).
Upon his graduation from UFA high school, he became involved with
numerous activities and community affairs. Frankie truly loved
his family and friends, always the life of the party with his famous
“2 step”. A truly generous, funny and charming man to say the
least; and we must not forget: a daddy’s boy. The one thing that
was incredibly important to him, outside of his family and friends
was his bike, that was his car and he did not play when it came to
his “car”.
Frankie leaves to cherish his memories: the special woman in his life,
Carolyn Henderson; children: Ania Thompson, Qarquana
Henderson, Jaquan Henderson, Jaheim Bowman, Isiir Thompson,
Izhanay Thompson, Izhaneek Thompson and Geneva Thompson;
siblings: Timothy White, Ineka (Clarence) Cubbage-Pope, Pamela
(Anteal) Jones, Lee Fitzhugh, Alexandria Thompson, Aleathea
Thompson, Tequila Lester, Karen Thompson, Aisha Thompson and
Toyota Thompson; grandchildren: Nova Spight, Zahara Wright,
Jalayah Henderson-Mathis, Niyelle Moody and Israel Thompson;
special brother Mark Carr; special friend Doretha Rolle; aunt Mable
Edwards and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his step-mother Edna Harris and sister Angela
Tillery.
Frankie will truly be missed, always loved and never forgotten.
May his heart and soul now rest peacefully.
*Special message from big sister, Boe: I would do anything to dance
and vibe with my baby brother again. We had so many good times
and I will always love you bro
