Obituary of Norman J. Williams

Norman J. Williams, 64 of Utica, NY was called home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2022. Norman, born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Bernie Williams and Mary W. Williams on March 2, 1958 relocated with his family in his very early years to the Utica, NY area. Norman attended and graduated from UFA and also attended Sullivan College where he cultivated his culinary skills. The one passion that Norman had was cooking. He believed in the old saying, "put your foot in it". When he was not cooking, he was home spending time relaxing. Not one to just hang out but one to think about what he did yesterday, what he did today and what is on the horizon for tomorrow, he was very thoughtful and retrospective. To cherish the memories of Norman are his brothers, Thomas and Lester Williams as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernie and Mary and brothers Bernie, Jr. and Albert Williams. Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Home, 144 Eagle Street, Utica, NY 13501, 12:00pm visitation and 1:00pm funeral service with Reverend George Clark officiating.
