Ms, Arthasia Danyelle Taylor, 35, of Churchill Ave. Utica, passed away unexpectedly December 9, 2012. She was born October 17, 1977, in Utica. Arthasia attended Thomas R. Proctor High School, graduated from Utica School of Commerce with an Associates degree on August 20, 2011. and was on the Dean/President's list three out of four semesters. She was an active member of the Service Club before and after her graduation. Arthasia found joy in donating large amounts of toys and gifts to the children in the Emmanus House and continued to donate right up to the date she passed away. Arthasia was very compassionate about helping our children who were less fortunate. Arthasia was currently enrolled at Mohawk Valley Community College for her Bachelors degree. Arthasia worked with the Y.W.C.A. Domestic Violence Program as a Resident Assistant for the last two years. Arthasia leaves to mourn, the love of her life (11yrs) Taki Johnson, her daughters, Ania Thompson and Sharay Taylor, her father and mother, Raymond and Diane Jackson, her sisters, Anita Taylor(Mark), Dara DelGado, her brothers, Raymond L. Jackson III(Serena), Wesley Jackson(Nadya) and Arthur L. Taylor Jr., her nieces, Akiela, Anondai, Araia and Zoe, nephews, Terrel and Joshau. A very special friend, Rochelle Moore and her family. Also mourning her loss is her grandmother, Roberta Cubbage-McCrae, Arthur L. Taylor, aunts; Lueberta Dennis(Jessie), Valarie Blachshear(Eric), Laverne Hendricks(Thomas), Ineka Cubbage, Roslind Jackson(Winston), Roxanne Testamark(Andre), Carmella Garcia, Irabell Strong, Linda Williams(Joe), Stella Webb(Cebron), Patricia Vance(Jessi) and Jamila Roble(Tony), uncles; William L. Cubbage, Timothy Cubbage(Joanne), Phil Benson(Linda), Bruce Benson(Fannie), Charles Benson(Lois), Robert Jackson(Betty), James Jackson(Georgette), Willie Taylor, Clyde Taylor(Lauren), Tommy Taylor and Julius Taylor. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, William Cubbage, Hoover L. McCrae, Raymond Jackson Sr. and Nathaniel Taylor Sr., her grandmothers, Irene Jackson and Irene Taylor, her aunt, Natalie Drayton and uncles, Lee Ernest Nelson(Tonia) and Nathaniel Taylor Jr. Arthasia also leaves a host of great aunts and great uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 11:00 am until the 12:00 noon funeral service at T.Revels-Gibson Funeral Chapel.
