Ms. Annette,
I was very saddened to hear that Poncho passed away. As you know I have known Poncho and the rest of the family since I was around 7 years old, when you all lived on Mandeville Street. Back in those days, you allowed all of us neighborhood kids to hang out over at your house. I will never forget your generosity in buying ice cream for all of Poncho and Debbie's friends when the ice cream truck came around. I have such fond memories of Poncho going back to our days as grade school kids at Bagg school and running around playing all over the place on Mandeville, Aiken, and State Streets in Utica. On those times that I would return to Utica, it was always a joy for me to run into Poncho because we were bonded by our happy times growing up. I hope and pray that God will bless you with strength to bear the loss of your great son, William "Poncho" Berry, my friend.
